What is T-Care therapy?
T-Care therapy is a radiofrequency therapeutic technique that combines manual physiotherapy with deep diathermy (heat), which enables the treatment of musculoskeletal injuries from within the body. Musculoskeletal injuries include pain, itching, cramping and stiffness of the muscles, tendons, nerves or joints. Pain in the wrists, elbows or back are the most common complaints.
We use the treatment mainly in our patients to increase the natural regeneration and anti-inflammatory processes of the musculoskeletal system.
Deep diathermy (heat) is possible with T-Care by penetrating the tissues at a depth of about 8-15 cm, activating the regenerative biological process naturally, but without overheating the skin or muscle tissue. In our specialised rehabilitation centre, we have purchased 2 of the latest T-Care models and 8 of our physiotherapists have taken a specialised course.
T-Care can be applied in two ways
.
- The RESISTANT way; The effect concentrates on the tissue at a medium depth. With this application, we can promote oxygenation and vascularisation, promoting cellular proliferation, reducing inflammation and accelerating the healing of dense tissues such as tendons, ligaments, bones or joints.
- The CAPACITIVA way; the current generates an alteration of the electromagnetic field which causes the movement of the ions of the tissues of the patient up to 2-3 centimetres deep. This causes an increase in temperature at the muscle level, in connective tissue, fatty tissue and the dermis. Muscle irrigation helps to drain edema and reduce pain by normalizing and improving ion exchanges in cell membranes.
It is essential to increase the benefits and optimise the positive results by combining the T-Care therapy treatment with manual techniques of specialised physiotherapy, such as stretching, mobilisation and massage therapy.
The two methods of application generate an increased production of collagen and elasticity, which results in an intensive oxygenation of the subcutaneous facial tissue, increasing its elasticity and improving its quality.
