Acupuncture
Acupuncture emphasizes the whole personAcupuncture mainly emphasizes the whole person. So it is a holistic healing method. Energy runs within the human body in a network of energy channels, called meridians, in which all energy moves in a balanced and harmonious manner. When this energy is brought out of balance, imbalances arise which in turn lead to pain and/or disease.
By puncturing acupuncture points, located at specific locations on a meridian, the acupuncturist can influence the circulation and balance of energy, thus restoring energetic balance.
Acupuncture can be used for the following complaints, among others:
- Painful joints and muscles
- Diabetes
- Skin problems
- Poor blood circulation, anemia and too high or too low blood pressure
- Hay fever, bronchitis, asthma and shortness of breath
- Dizziness, headache, migraine and sinusitis
- Rheumatism, osteoarthritis and arthritis
- Inflammations or infections of the prostate, ears and urinary tract
- Menstrual complaints and menopausal complaints
- Sleep problems
- Anxiety, burnout, depression and addictions
