Physiotherapy
‘Moving to Better: The Core of Physiotherapy’The human body is an amazingly clever and well-organised set of muscles, nerves, bones and joints that we must be able to rely on every day. Walking, standing, jumping, bending, they are often perfectly natural movements. These movements are not so self-evident but you only realise this when something is bothering you; when your body does not cooperate for a while.
The person who knows all about this is the physiotherapist; the movement specialist. He or she can treat your symptoms through physiotherapy, working preventively to avoid (worse) problems. A physiotherapist advises, guides and treats patients with disorders in posture and/or movement. He does this, for example, through exercise therapy, manipulation, stretching, physiotherapy, electrotherapy, laser and/or ultrasound. During rehabilitation, the physiotherapist also has a coaching role to motivate and guide the patient in learning how best to move in everyday life.
Many physiotherapists work in our rehabilitation centre, each with their own specialisations such as: manual therapists, osteopaths, specialised physiotherapists for neurological and orthopaedic treatments, physiotherapists specialising in ultrasound, neuromodulation, neurodynamics, T-care therapy, lymphatic drainage, Dry Needling, etc.
