Lymphatic drainage
The body is in optimal balance when the water balance is in optimal condition. The human body consists of two-thirds fluid. This fluid is found in and around all body cells, blood vessels, lymphatic vessels, and brain pathways. Many processes occur through this body fluid. These processes through the body fluid are referred to as the water balance.
The body is in optimal balance when the water balance is in optimal condition.
The lymphatic system (lymphatic vessels and lymph nodes) plays a significant role in creating and maintaining the ideal environment for our body’s cells. Indeed, it’s the lymphatic system that performs a nourishing, purifying, and draining role there.
Lymph circulation is a normal, natural function in our body. This function, however, can be hindered due to an accident, illness, or stress. In this case, manual lymphatic drainage (using hands) and/or compression devices can help restore the lymphatic system to normal functioning. Lymphatic drainage is a treatment aimed at assisting in the removal of excess lymphatic fluid when the body is unable to do so itself.
