Individual treatment plan based on your condition
Continuous medical supervision
An intensive, medically guided MS rehabilitation program in Spain — designed to improve mobility, reduce fatigue and help you regain independence in daily life.
This doesn’t go away on its own
When multiple sclerosis begins to affect your mobility, energy or independence, rest alone is not enough.
A structured, medically guided rehabilitation program can make a meaningful difference.
Does this feel familiar?
You don’t need to wait for things to get worse to recognise that your condition is affecting your daily life.
✔ You experience persistent fatigue that doesn’t improve with rest
✔ Walking feels less stable or requires more effort
✔ You notice loss of strength, coordination or balance
✔ Daily activities are becoming more difficult or exhausting
✔ You feel less independent than before
✔ Your symptoms seem to be progressing or fluctuating unpredictably
✔ You’ve tried to manage it on your own, but progress is limited
If this has been happening for weeks or months, your body may need more than rest.
It may require a structured and specialised rehabilitation approach.
A structured approach focused on real progress
We focus on how your body functions today — and how to improve it step by step.
Understanding where you are now
We begin with a detailed assessment of your neurological and physical condition — including mobility, balance, strength and fatigue.
This allows us to understand how MS is affecting your daily life, and to define clear, realistic goals based on your situation.
A personalised plan built around your condition
Based on your assessment, we design a structured rehabilitation program tailored to your needs.
This may include neurological physiotherapy, balance and gait training, fatigue and energy management, and cognitive support — all coordinated within one integrated plan.
Regaining function, confidence and control
As the program progresses, the focus shifts to improving how you move, reducing effort in daily activities and increasing your overall energy efficiency.
The goal is not just improvement during your stay — but helping you regain independence and confidence in your day-to-day life.
Rehabilitation at Medifit Center Daniya
During your stay, you will follow your rehabilitation program at Medifit Center Daniya in Dénia (Spain) on a full-board basis.
You will recover in a structured, calm and medically supervised environment, with access to modern treatment facilities, specialised exercise areas and a heated indoor pool.
Your program includes intensive sessions from Monday to Friday, ensuring consistent progress under professional supervision, with time to rest and recover during weekends.
Before your arrival, we carry out an online medical intake to understand your condition and prepare your personalised plan.
Your stay typically lasts around 6 weeks, depending on your situation and rehabilitation goals. During this time, we perform detailed assessments, define your functional level and begin your treatment program.
At the end of your stay, you will be prepared to continue your recovery at home, with a personalised online aftercare plan and professional follow-up.
A personalised, medically guided program
Your rehabilitation plan is tailored to your condition and goals, and may include:
- Neurological physiotherapy for mobility, balance and gait
- Balance and coordination training
- Energy and fatigue management
- Cognitive and neuropsychological training
- Hydrotherapy in a heated pool
- Occupational therapy for daily independence
Each element is part of a coordinated and continuously adapted treatment plan, focused on measurable progress.
Aftercare and aHSCT program
For patients after aHSCT, we offer an extended 8-week program based on load capacity. After your stay, you will receive a personalised online aftercare plan to continue your progress at home.
Step 1 – Understanding your current condition
Medical intake and clinical history review (including aHSCT if applicable)
Functional assessment (strength, balance and mobility)
Definition of personalised rehabilitation goals
Psychological and lifestyle evaluation
Step 2 – A personalised treatment plan
Based on your assessment, we design an individual rehabilitation program in collaboration with our multidisciplinary team.
This may include neurological physiotherapy, cognitive support and targeted medical training — all integrated into a structured and coordinated plan.
Your progress is continuously monitored and adjusted, ensuring you improve at the right pace.
